Data Capture & Return Messages

As well as text-2-screen capability, Message Station also functions as a powerful promotional tool - whereby you can send messages back to your customers who’s numbers have been captured by the system

SMS Contact Manager

The mobile phone numbers (and actual messages) captured by the system are automatically uploaded to our SMS Contact Manager. You can login to this from any PC with an internet connection and do the following:

  • See who has txt’d your system, what message(s) they sent, and over what time period 

  • Prepare promotional messages to send back, select which contacts you wish to include, and schedule the message to be sent at any time.

  • Manually add contacts from data captured through other methods (see below)

Other ways to gather data

Data Cards

Often when voting on the results of competitions, e.g. “Battle of the Bands”, and on the promise of winning a prize, etc, customers will generally give away their full names, mobile phone numbers and e-mail addresses on a paper-based form. These details can be manually added to your Contact Manger account.

VIP Entry

Some venues offer a “TXT for VIP” or “TXT for QJUMP” service which allows data to be captured again to your service account.

Website

Your in-venue chatroom can also be displayed on your website, and you can have a “join alerts” option to allow users to join your mailing list this way.

Integration from other systems

Our technical team can also import data from any other data capture system. Generally, these will have a database (Access or MySQL) which we can copy the data from, and re-format it, and batch add it to your Contact Manager account.
